Gateway Arts District

The Prince George’s County Gateway Arts District is a state designation that spans four municipalities—Mount Rainier, Brentwood, North Brentwood, and Hyattsville, MD. Established in 1996, it is now home to close to 300 emerging and mid-career artists, 100 arts related businesses, and several well established arts entities including Joe’s Movement Emporium, Red Dirt Studio, and the Washington Glass School and Gateway Arts Center.
